Hoglund Body & Equipment is a family owned, commercial vehicle body repair shop located in Monticello, MN, that was established in 2006. We operate in two separate facilities totaling over 47,000 square feet. We utilize state-of-the-art equipment and paint matching technology. Our focus is continued growth in the body repair industry and investing in our team members.

Hoglund Body & Equipment is seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our night-shift, working Monday – Thursday, 10-hour shifts.

RESPONSIBILITES

• Read, comprehend, and repair a vehicle per the estimate given.
• Check all parts against the estimate to ensure correct parts have been received.
• Takes initiative to make ethical repair decisions without direction.
• Works towards performing high quality fiberglass and body repairs.
• Posses the proper tools to perform all required repairs.
• Notify management of any repair concerns that will affect the repair quality or promise time.
• Maintain clean tools, equipment, and work area.
• Maintain and wear all required safety protection equipment, including a respirator when necessary.
• Understand and comply with all federal, state and local regulations that affect body shop operations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc.
• Follow Hoglund Body & Equipment's SOPs and ask for clarification when needed.
• Follow the Company's Culture and Mission Statement.
• Maintain a positive attitude while focusing on self-improvement.

EXPERIENCE / SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend documents such as repair orders, safety rules, and procedure manuals.

Experience:

• 2 years in the automotive repair industry

Skills & Abilities:

• Physical ability to lift 50 or more pounds
• Position requires the ability to frequently stand, climb stairs, and climb ladders throughout shifts
• Time management skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to work independently and with teams efficiently
