Position Details
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Unloads and receives Plant Department MRO deliveries.
- Utilizes warehouse computer inventory systems to track material and produce reports.
- Creates pick tickets and fills orders.
- Coordinates office supply orders with customers.
- Assists Director in coordinating campus furniture deliveries and set-ups.
- Performs cycle counts and inventory reconciliation to ensure accurate inventory counts.
- Breaks-down deliveries and stack/wrap pallets.
- Files manifests and completion of sales orders.
- Preforms daily routine inspections of warehouse material handling equipment.
- Always maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and storage areas neat and organized.
- Performs snow removal duties as needed.
- Performs other related warehouse and custodial duties as assigned.
- Four years of commercial warehouse experience required.
- Must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 50lbs and occasionally lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs.
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Experience operating industry-standard warehouse material handling equipment.
- Must be able to read, comprehend and remain in compliance with all written warehouse work policies and have a good knowledge of PPE and safety procedures.
- Must possess a good working knowledge of a wide array of standard MRO parts and materials.
- Familiar with standard inventory controls, processes, and handling of equipment.
- Must possess excellent organizational, telephone and customer service skills.
- Ability to understand and interpret Safety Data Sheets.
- Salary ranges indicated for positions covered under a Collective Bargaining Agreement are in accordance with the CBA.
