Primary Purpose of the Role
Ability to support Hoffmaster marketing needs as it relates to designing collateral requests, sell sheets, product catalogs, packaging, advertisements, web and digital image support, sales posters, banners, product photography, DAM asset management, image manipulation and template creation. Designer should have the ability to see projects thru conception to completion. Including press proofing and direction of photo shoots. Adobe Creative Suite skills are required. Pre-production knowledge to support custom print is required.
Essential Job Duties

• Design development for Hoffmaster product lines.
• Layout and design collateral art requests.
• Layout and design Hoffmaster catalogs and distributor catalogs.
• Work with outside vendors for printing services.
• Product Photography and post editing.
• Create logo and brand concepts.
• Act as a backup to Custom print as needed.
• Knowledge of foodservice industry, knowledge of production art (preferred).
• Up to date on market trends.
• Understanding of Graphic Design for marketing teams for at least 4 years.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Digital color editing and special effects are a plus.
• Experience with printing technology including offset, letterpress and flexo preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple project requests on a daily basis while meeting due dates on a consistent basis.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe In Design software, knowledge or interest in After Effects a plus.
• Preferred Bachelors Degree BFA Commercial Art
