Overview:
We are currently seeking a Warehouse Worker to join our team. As a Warehouse Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to the efficient operation of our industrial distribution and service center. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the operation of a fork lift.
Responsibilities:
*Manage the shipment and receipt of all products, materials and supplies
*Communicate with inside personnel and salespeople regarding shipments
*Properly label all outgoing items
*Keep track of the status of all outgoing and incoming shipments
*Unload all incoming shipments and deliveries
*Carefully inspect all incoming shipments and deliveries prior to the receiving process
*Negotiate and communicate with couriers
*Make periodic deliveries and pick-ups to and from customers
*Shop work
*Work under Pump Shop Manager in whatever capacity needed including but not limited to disassembly, inspection, cleaning, reassembly, and painting of all serviced equipment
*Accompany Pump Shop manager on service calls
Experience:
*Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse work and small equipment repair preferred.
Hours:
*Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Compensation:
*Hourly - based on experience
*Health benefits and 401K available
Valid driver's license required
All applicants subject to background check
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
