Food Runner
Job Description and Duties:
As a Food Runner, your job is very important by providing prompt, accurate delivery of menu items, with the ability to run trays of food containing anywhere from two (2) up to ten (10) covered plates, to our guests. The primary duties include:
- Ensures guests receive food once it is finished by the Expo for prompt service
- Be knowledgeable of all menu items
- Sets up food running station prior to shift
- Check expo ticket for all items listed, make sure any modifications requested are correct as well as garnishments
- Assists Expo in stocking of Expo Fridge when needed
- Assists with bussing tables during slow periods
- Maintains a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working climate, which will be conductive to maximum employee morale, productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
- Performs all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner in accordance with established company policies to achieve the overall objectives of the position.
Qualifications/Physical Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills
- Must have great orginizational skills and very detail oriented
- Understanding of hygiene and food safety
- Good fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
- Able to lift and carry a tray weighing up to 30 lbs multiple times per shift
- Able to frequently bend, stoop and reach as well as the ability to be on your feet for extended periods of time
- Must be a Team Player
