The Health and Wellness Retail Manager is responsible for day-to-day retail operations in conjunction with the Operations Manager. This person plays a vital role in overall leadership by creating a positive work environment, insuring exceptional customer service, managing the Health and Wellness team, driving sales and achieving financial goals.

• A demonstrated interest in wholistic health and wellness, nutritional and herbal supplements, and healthy lifestyle management
• Motivation and ability to learn about nutritional supplements and appropriate use
• Personal satisfaction from interacting with customers, providing meaningful product information and helping them choose the right products for their needs
• Strong team building, leadership, and managerial skills, such as organizing and maintaining daily tasks and routines, insuring outstanding customer service, training, development and mentoring of other store associates
• The ability to managing inventory levels according to established guidelines, in order to maximize sales and maintain store appearance
• Ability to multi-task, coordinate, analyze, observe, make decisions, and meet deadlines in a detail-oriented and timely manner

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 2 years of retail sales and store management experience in a specialty retail environment.
• Experience with POS software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong business math skills
• Strong communication and team building skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including rotating weekends
