HOERBIGER Service Inc. is currently seeking a VISTRA® Field Application Expert to join our team in La Porte, TX.

VISTRA® is our digital component repair solution, tracking components end-to-end during maintenance and repair processes, in order to identify bad actors and improve compressor performance and uptime for our customers.

No experience with HOERBIGER systems needed as training will be provided.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• The VISTRA® Field Application Expert is responsible for the on-site technical and physical onboarding of new customers.
• Supports the Regional Product Manager and closely collaborates with the VISTRA® Application Engineer and VISTRA® Application Expert, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
• Prepares and conducts onboardings in the field as per defined onboarding guidelines (identification and serialization of parts, organizing inventory, documentation and coordination of master data requirements, etc.).
• Prepares the VISTRA® system setup by data collection (unit configuration, inventory, part numbers, users) and coordinates master data uploads with the VISTRA® Application Expert, ensuring top data quality.
• Coordinates potential upgrade requirements with the VISTRA® Application Engineer, Regional Product Manager and Key Account Manager.
• Available to travel to prepare, commission and solve VISTRA® field problems or provide customer support and training.
• Regularly aligns with the Regional Product Manager, VISTRA® Application Engineer and Expert, being part of the regional VISTRA®

Technical or Functional Knowledge

• 2-4 years of industry experience and reciprocating compressor knowledge preferred but not required
• Ability to work around reciprocating compressors in remote / field environments
• ERP experience (including master data management) preferred
• Good Microsoft Excel skills
• Good organizational skills
• Basic project management skills
• No experience with HOERBIGER systems needed as training will be provided.

• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Ability to work in a team environment and proactively solve problems
