Job Description:

Ortho Dental Assistant supports Orthodontists while developing a professional relationship with patients. Our team is committed to engagement, positive attitude and an inviting atmosphere combined with premier skills that will provide the patient an elevated experience. With our company, you are part of a dental family that appreciates the significance of your role to the overall success of the practice, your patients, and in turn - to yourself.

Responsibilities:

● Strive to provide the best patient experience

● Support and Assist dentist chairside with orthodontic treatment of patients.

● Assist with documentation and the upkeep of records

● Listen, and address all patient concerns around orthodontic procedures and braces aftercare

● Provide clear communication and education on treatment plans and maintaining oral health.

● Oversee operatory set-up and clean-up, including sterilization process.

● adjust patients’ braces as directed by the resident orthodontist

● Support front desk and office manager as needed with admin needs, patient calls, etc.

Qualifications:

● Maintains a positive, collaborative and supportive disposition with team and patients

Dental Assistants Receive:

● Understands and complies with HIPAA and HITECH Act of 2009
