As a Maintenance Engineer, you will perform a variety of engineering activities as they impact our manufacturing operations. This can encompass improvements or modifications in production processes, recommendations for changes in procedures, as well as monitoring operations to ensure compliance with approved methods and quality standards. These roles require strong problem-solving skills and analytical capabilities. With this, you will capture critical knowledge of many facets of operations, as well as opportunities for long-term career growth.
Some of the essential aspects of the position include:
- Investigate and resolve work-in-process problems
- Monitor operations to assure compliance
- Provide guidance and management to Maintenance Planner, Inventory Specialist, and Supply Chain Analyst
- Responsible for facility’s CMMS program (PM’s, assets, work orders, inventory) and data management
- Develop and improve CMMS related policies for implementation within the organization
- Create maintenance KPI’s and MDI metrics to drive action towards facility goals and Maintenance Excellence.
- Manage inventory and maintenance budget
- Schedule OEM Technicians for onsite inspections and subsequent project repairs
- SME for equipment escalations and assistance in troubleshooting
- Recommend and implement improvements or modifications for manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and related matters
- Confer with other engineers to clarify and resolve problems
What it takes:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or relatable work experience
- Strong problem-solving capabilities with an ability to see through execution
- Lean Manufacturing principles including RCI, 3P, Value Stream Mapping, and statistical analysis
