Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee construction projects and ensure their successful completion. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the construction site, including coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and managing project timelines. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and possess excellent leadership and communication skills.
Duties:
- Manage all aspects of the construction site, including coordinating with subcontractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders
- Oversee project timelines and ensure that projects are completed on schedule
- Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks or issues and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with project teams to develop and implement effective risk management strategies
- Utilize construction management software to track project progress, manage budgets, and generate reports
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards
- Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, including training and development opportunities
- Manage workers compensation claims and facilitate the return-to-work process for injured employees
- Promote a culture of occupational health and safety on the construction site
Skills:
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices
- Proficiency in risk management techniques and strategies
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and industry standards (e.g., NEC, OSHA, USACE, NVVFAC)
- Experience in using construction management software for project tracking and reporting
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate teams to achieve project goals
- Effective problem-solving skills to address issues that may arise during construction projects
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of compliance management practices related to construction projects (e.g., EHS)
