Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Driver's Helper. As a Driver's Helper, you will assist the driver in the safe and efficient delivery of goods to various locations. This is a physically demanding role that requires heavy lifting and the ability to work in various weather conditions.
Duties:
- Assist the driver in loading and unloading goods from the truck
- Secure cargo to prevent damage during transportation
- Follow delivery instructions and ensure timely and accurate deliveries
- Communicate effectively with the driver and other team members
- Perform basic maintenance checks on the vehicle before and after each trip
- Help maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
Must be able to lift 75lbs
Experience in installing appliances. Hooking up water lines that DO NOT leak and potentially dryer vents. Wages go up with experience
Must pass criminal background check
- Valid driver's license or at the very least reliable transportation to and from
- Experience with liftgates is a plus
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
Note: This is not a driving position, but rather an assistant role to support the driver during deliveries.
