The Pediatric Surgical Subspecialty Physician assists, monitors, and manages the day-to-day needs of patients as requested by, in conjunction with, and under the supervision of a physician. Performs the duties and responsibilities of a Physician Assistant according to customary and generally accepted medical standards. Full-time position for the pediatric surgical sub-specialties department with Jersey Shore UMC in Neptune. Minimum 3-5 yrs experience. Required: First Assist experience, BLS, PALS, ACLS.Multiple service coverage - must be able to move fluidly between services.
Qualifications:
Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Successful completion of an approved physicians assistant program, accredited by the AMA Council on Medical Education. 3. Minimum 3-5 yrs experience.4. First Assist experience, 5. BLS, PALS, ACLS.6. Multiple service coverage - must be able to move fluidly between services. Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. Physician Assistant License. 2. Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required
