HME is looking for your talent! If you are a Vice President of Product Quality we would love to hear from you! In this role, as the Vice President of Product Quality, you will oversee the entire customer quality experience of our products and software solutions (both hardware and software) for the entire product including software, cloud, and IoT. You will lead and build a team of exceptional talent and position the organization for success as our businesses grow and evolve.

What you will do in the position:

  • Set quality objectives, establish KPI’s and other metrics to align with and reflect the customer’s experience, our brand, and formulate strategic action plans to achieve results for all HME entities.
  • Understand the customer’s required quality and reliability experience and expectations with our products and solutions, and create quality systems to ensure we can achieve those expectations.
  • Ability to create, coordinate, and analyze input from disparate sources (manufacturing, repair, field service and installation, technical support call center, and customers) to identify and prioritize potential issues and address them before they become significant.
  • Ability to establish audit and surveillance protocols to monitor the entire production process, software test and release process, product online connected system, and product repair processes.
  • Works closely with software development and IT groups to ensure we create and maintain key product network and cloud reliability performance levels and participates with R&D engineering in the assessment of new product design quality and reliability.
  • Collaborates with supply chain leadership to ensure the correct processes and testing protocols are in place, both at HME and at HME suppliers, to ensure materials, parts, and products comply with established specifications, tolerances, and quality standards.
  • Stays up to date with industry best practices and emerging trends in quality assurance, both hardware, software, and cloud, incorporating them into our overall strategy as appropriate.

What you will need to succeed in this position:

  • Master's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Software Engineering
  • 15 years of demonstrated expertise in quality engineering, auditing, statistical analysis, ISO standards, lean systems, corrective action, and prevention, including implementation of quality tools such as - PFMEA, control plans, SPC, MSA, and process capability.
  • Experience in electronics electro-mechanical assembly processes and cloud-connected products required. This includes software updates over the cloud, over the air, and online products.
  • Must have experience expanding the quality view from a hardware-only focus to an integrated product focus that includes hardware, software, cloud-based tools, and IoT products.
  • Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex quality issues and apply strong interpersonal skills to interact directly with customers and suppliers to effectively understand the quality ecosystem.
  • ASQ certification, CMQOE, CQE, or CQA is a plus and strong system interconnect skills are required.

Pay Range: $225,900.00 to $301,200.00 This is the pay range we reasonably expect to pay for the role. This may vary depending on experience and other factors. Our benefits package includes tuition reimbursement; 3 weeks paid vacation your first year, paid holidays, medical, vision and dental coverage, pet insurance, life insurance, and 401K contributions.
