Job Duties

• Have dependable/personal transportation to get to/from each location that can change from morning/afternoon, day/day, week/week depending on job task responsibility priorities.
• Fulfill payer audit requests correctly and timely via method preferred by payer while maintaining an average of completion rate at 97% or higher after first 90-days of employment.
• Maintain daily request/status log of payer notices and dates (received, fulfilled/completion, etc.)
• Provide applicable feedback directly to Compliance Director and applicable department director(s)
• Monitor and report trends in audit requests to Compliance Director
• Assist in records organization and management in accordance with Department Director guidance.
• Attend Department meetings, as applicable.
• Assist in the planning, organization, implementation, and maintenance of records management system(s) (i.e., CPR , Brightree, etc.) for viewing, scanning, and sending requested documents.
• Assist in establishing procedures/processes for implementing records management programs (i.e., document imaging, physical records storage, etc.)
• Make recommendations to Compliance Director for suggested areas of improvement that HME could take advantage of to improve audit request responses, accuracy, and tracking.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in DME, medical records, claims/record auditing, or quality assurance in a Healthcare or DME setting.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and be a self-starter/motivator.
