Lead Water Mitigation Technician

Job Summary

The purpose of this job description is to establish and define the authority, reporting, roles, and responsibilities of the Lead Mitigation Technician, herein referred to as the “Lead Tech.”

Reporting

The Lead Tech reports directly to the Mitigation Manager. Daily the Lead Tech will report to the Mitigation Manager and/or Reconstruction Superintendents, depending on the project. The Lead Tech may assign tasks to other technicians and/or temp laborers on projects.

Job Requirements

To perform this job successfully, the Lead Tech should have basic working knowledge of water mitigation and at least 2 years of experience performing water mitigation services. Duties are not limited to, but include:

• Must comply with all safety policies.
• Cross over between Water Mitigation and Reconstruction
• Arrive 15 minutes early, prior to technicians/laborers arriving to plan out the day.
• Run Manpower
• Work with other Lead Techs to ensure all manpower is managed properly.
• Daily Updates
• Daily communication to Mitigation Project Manager
• Manage Multiple Jobs
• Log MICA/CAT Books Daily
• Use Company Cam for Pictures Daily
• Work Professionally with Others
• Manage Warehouse o Clean/Organize Daily o Equipment Inventory
• Vehicle Responsibilities o Inspections o Daily Maintenance o Make sure vehicles are loaded and ready to go daily.
• Payroll App Coded Daily

Standards

The Lead Mitigation Technician is responsible for achieving company standards for each job. They must maintain and accept responsibility for company tools and company equipment while on the job. They must also follow, adhere to, and enforce all company safety policies, keep vehicles/trailers in good condition, track any job expenses on company credit card. They will need to study, know, and understand specifications for the projects assigned to and perform mitigation services as outlined within the IICRC S-500. The Lead Water Tech will work in the field with their tools during normal hours and after hours.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
