We're a mid-sized General Contractor seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent. You will assist our project team completing a multi-year higher education project in Raleigh, NC.
As a Superintendent, you'll report to senior level field management and help to oversee the day-to-day construction activities on-site, from initial planning to final walkthrough. Your keen eye for detail and proactive problem-solving skills will ensure that the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of excellence.

The Superintendent selected to fill this position will primarily oversee interior finish work from drywall through final cleaning. Commercial Construction experience is mandatory.

Job Responsibilities Include:

* Daily Coordination with subcontractors, architects, and engineers

* Day-to-day tracking of upcoming project milestones and on-going construction activities

* Enforcing safety protocols

* Quality control activities to ensure that all work complies with the specifications and quality expectations

* Management of submittals, RFI's, and potential change orders

Qualifications:

* At least two years experience in commercial construction

* Strong leadership and communications skills

* Experience utilizing construction management software and technology to track project deliverables

* Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations

* Ability to work independently without the need for daily oversight

Compensation:

This is a full-time position with an initial project schedule of at least two years, and the opportunity to complete future projects on an on-going basis. Qualified applicants should expect to receive annual compensation of $65,000 - $85,000 based on experience and qualifications.
