Hitachi Energy is Hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Technician Near Alamo, TN
Hitachi Energy, located in Alamo, TN, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Technician. This position will interpret engineering sketches, specifications and drawings and ensure they align with the customer’s needs. In this role you will also set up and conduct tests of complete units and components under operational conditions to investigate proposals for improving equipment performance.
Responsibilities
- Design molds, tools, or fixtures for use in the manufacturing process
- Prepare equipment inspection schedules, reliability schedules, and work plans
- Assist in the design and implementation of work instructions for assembler usage
- Review project instructions and specifications to identify, modify and plan requirements fabrication, assembly, and testing
- Test machines, components, materials, or products to determine characteristics such as performance, strength, or response to stress
- Monitor, inspect and test mechanical equipment
- Assist design engineers in product testing
- Evaluate tool drawing designs by measuring drawing dimensions and comparing with original specifications for form and function using engineering skills
- Associates degree and 5 years of manufacturing, electrical, industrial experience
