Job Summary:
We are seeking enthusiastic and responsible individuals to join our team as Ride Operators. As a Ride Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of guests while operating a carousel and Ferris wheel. This is a fun role that requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work well in a solo or team environment.
Duties:
- Operate rides in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure the safety of guests by enforcing ride rules and regulations
- Assist guests with boarding and exiting rides
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions, providing directions, and resolving guest concerns
- Perform routine inspections on rides to ensure proper functioning
- Monitor ride queues to maintain an organized and efficient flow of guests
- Handle cash transactions for ride tickets
- Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of ride areas
- Assist with crowd control during peak times or special events
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service, hospitality, or customer service is preferred
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking abilities
- Ability to work well with children and families in a friendly and professional manner
- Experience in events management or conflict management is beneficial
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as required
- Must be able to pass a drug test and a background check
