Job Summary
HistoGenetics (www.histogenetics.com), a state-of-the-art biotechnology company located in Westchester County, specializes in molecular HLA typing. Seeking individuals with a minimum BA/BS degree to work for various genetic testing projects. Salary commensurate with experience. Candidates with no prior experience are encouraged to apply. Training is provided.
Responsibilities and Duties
Histogenetics has a high throughput set up and consists of several sections to perform each step for the molecular HLA typing. Successful candidates will be assigned and trained in one of the following sections:
· Sample receiving and accession
· DNA extraction
· PCR set up
· Agarose gel electrophoresis to quality control PCR amplicons
· DNA sequencing of PCR products using Next and Third Generation of automated DNA analyzers.
· Data analysis
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
