Hispanic Technology Executive Council is Hiring a Wholesale Lending Data Quality Assessment Senior Analyst - VP (Hybrid) Near Charlotte, NC

We are actively seeking an energetic and detail driven Data Quality Assessment Sr Analyst (VP) to join our mission to transform how Citi manages Wholesale Lending Credit Risk (WLCR). ICM is a global group focused on re-imaging credit control process, policies, and technology to manage the wholesale lending process end to end.

The Data Quality and Governance organization within ICM is responsible for driving a data architecture in order to deliver front to back design, identify gaps, and implement a robust governance framework across ICG Wholesale Credit Risk (WCR) universe with a specific focus on counterparty credit risk. A key focus is on Data Quality including ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness across data flows and alignment with Citi's overall data strategy.

This role responsible for partnering across all relevant businesses within ICG and Independent Risk to drive key initiatives and associated deliverables for the data strategy and manage change with the right governance framework. Specific focus will be on control gap assessment and remediation.

Key Responsibilities:

Work collaboratively with the Institutional Credit Management(ICM), Operations, Chief Data Officer, and Technology teams to conduct a range of analysis to facilitate better understanding of the controls. This can include data discovery and profiling, assessing data quality, validation rules and raising issues.

Individually and as part of a team execute control assessments to confirm the following; data entry validations, external third party review and testing, review of data quality rules and consumption of data from approved sources.

Review and compile results of control assessments to appropriately identify gaps when compared to ICM best practices.

Communicates assessment outcomes to ensure alignment with Citi's Data Policy

Plays a part in participating in necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for ICM control processes.

Participates in assessing and incorporating changing business, regulatory and market information needs into ICM and Operations processes and applications

Resolves complex problems, where expertise is required to interpret policies, guidelines or processes.

Understanding of risk while evaluating controls, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in business or technology related field

5 Years of experience in financial services or management consulting, preferably in transformation roles or risk and controls process development

Experience in executing/participating in complex change, either as an end user, product manager, or business analyst with a focus on controls and governance

Track record of working across multiple stakeholders and collaborating with various technology partners

Experience supporting the credit lifecycle execution or related transformation efforts in wholesale lending is a plus

Advanced competencies in MS Suite Applications such as MS excel and MS PowerPoint
