RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide development of batch data integration and provisioning solutions using DataStage application/platform running on ETL Grid architecture.

• Review functional business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

• Work closely with offshore teams to ensure jobs are appropriately designed to meet business requirements and conduct code reviews.

• Code solutions and unit testing to deliver a requirement/story per defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements.

• Document data mapping, transformation rules, and design diagrams.

• Partner with Platform Support and Production Support teams for E2E Job deployment, validation, and scheduling.

• Design, develop, and deploy DataStage ETL jobs to support data integration and provisioning across various data sources, including relational databases, flat files, XML files, and EBCDIC files.

• Design and develop the standard batch data Integration and provision frameworks.

• Assess and conduct performance analysis and optimization/tuning of ETL jobs.

• Provide effort estimation, develop proof of concepts for new integration patterns, and update development standards for new projects utilizing DataStage tool.

• Remote work may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Engineering (any), Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and

• 5 years of progressively responsible experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

• Must include 5 years of experience in each of the following:

• Designing, developing, and deploying DataStage ETL jobs to support data integration and provisioning across various data sources, including relational databases, flat files, XML files, and EBCDIC files;

• Designing and developing the standard batch data Integration and provision frameworks;

• Assessing and conducting performance analysis and optimization/tuning of ETL jobs; and,

• Providing effort estimation, developing proof of concepts for new integration patterns, and updating development standards for new projects utilizing DataStage tool.
