Technical Project Manager Document Management Central - DMC, Innovation Labs

The Document Management Central (DMC) is building a new team to help operational line of businesses to simplify and standardize the way they manage documents through automating critical processes and digitizing documents using Artificial Intelligence machine learning, deep learning, natural language processing (classification, extraction, etc.). Document Management Central improves how Citi servers their clients for searching documents and associating data elements and document types across multiple repositories. Using Artificial Intelligence Machine Learning models, Natural Language Processing, through platform that understands structured and unstructured data and automates business processes.

The Technical Project Manager Document Library will be defining scope, planning, executing and tracking & controlling the programs and projects within DMC Document Library team. The team is looking for an individual candidate who is talented, creative, and experienced project manager, who will bridge between R&D teams, the business, Citi remote teams and stakeholders through planning and delivering to the highest standards - on time, on budget and with quality. The Project Manager will analyze, plan and deliver requirements of business operations and technology organizations within critical applications/systems and will work with Instabase team to provide cutting edge solutions through Artificial Intelligence using Machine Learning and Natural Language Processing (NLP) tools, digitization, and automation.

The Project Manager will analyze, plan and develop DMC Document Library solution while working in partnership with all Line of Business, technology units within ISG and Citi Innovation Labs. This requires a highly experienced project manager who has a proven track record of delivering AI models for highly scalable robust applications that use the latest tools and technologies while working on all phases of the development life cycle. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and product quality is essential.

Responsibilities:

• Strategize, implement, and maintain Document Library project initiatives that adhere to Citi ISG and Innovation Lab organizational objectives
• Develop project assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement
• Set and maintain DMC Doc Library standards and align them to Citi vision and principles with customer satisfaction, quality deliverables, and organizational performance
• Plan and deliver all program phases and track schedule, milestones, scope and budget. Work closely with project sponsor, Operations, R&D Innovation Labs, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives.
• Liaise with Operations and Technology teams supporting a fast-paced Agile development environment.
• Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
• Manage Document Library budget and funding channels for maximum productivity. Develop and manage budget and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives.
• Manage program and project teams for optimal return-on-investment, and coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives
• Provide regular communication to management and the program project stakeholders - status, change requests, risks and issues
• Work in collaboration with other tech groups to provide world class solutions
• Identify, analyze, evaluate, communicate, and overcome program issues and risks. Propose risk mitigation options, considering business implications of the application of technology to the current business environment and produce program reports for management and stakeholders.
• Provide efficient inputs into the technical analysis, discussions, designs, development and testing.
• Facilitate and actively participate during all phases of development and implementation phases, including formulation and definition of systems scope, objectives, and necessary system enhancements for complex, high-impact projects
• Developing Document Library Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), track and measure programs against set KPIs. Develop metrics and dashboards to create transparency; measure efficiencies to identify bottlenecks and gaps. Work with a geographically distributed technology team to ensure that the requirements / business needs are well understood, and the solution developed are in line with the requirements.
• Meet customer requirements with least amount of rework and high amount of test coverage in the least amount of time
• Provide in-depth and sophisticated analyses with interpretive thinking to define problems, develop innovative solutions and influence strategic decisions
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
• Act as a Document Library expert and facilitate knowledge sharing within the team
• Plan the approach, tools, and templates to be used, timelines and monitor performance for analysis work

Mandatory Skills/Experience

• 7 years Project Management experience, out of which 5 years experience in Software Development organizations
• Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of digital marketing
• Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes
• Excellent negotiation skills, enthusiastic with a "go-getter" mindset, innovative, takes initiatives and proactive
• Expertise in working on Agile programs and acting as an Agile Scrum Master
• Excellent communication skills- oral, written, interpersonal / time management, presentation skills. Ability to explain complex requirements in simple words.
• Quick learner - Ability to work and adapt in a fast-moving industry

• Great analytical skills with creativity, adaptability, and agility to act in ambiguity with changing priorities, requirements and solve wide range of problems to remove roadblocks.

• Proven experience of delivering complex projects involving multiple stakeholders across different geographical locations with a significant amount of uncertainty.
• Proficient in MS Project, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint
• Agile Certification - Scrum Master preferred
• Experience in using JIRA to track requirements / stories
• Experience of working in a globally distributed team, working in different time zones
• Good team player and works collaboratively. Promotes teamwork and maintains effective communication within and across groups.

Nice to have Skills

• Background of software development. Knowledge of programming languages and programing experience Java, C#, VBA, Python, JS or other scripting languages
• PMP or other equivalent Project Management certifications a huge plus
• Lean Six Sigma
• Technical background in Machine Learning, Interaction Systems, Data Analytics, NLP based system
• Experience in working in a multicultural organization
• Experience of relevant financial background of capital markets or regulatory background
• Banking or financial services experience

Education:

• Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree
