Hispanic Technology Executive Council is Hiring a SVP - Risk Data & Tech Transformation - Business Architect (Hybrid) Near Tampa, FL

About the team:

As part of the newly created Risk Data and Technology transformation team of the Enterprise Risk Management function., you will be part of a team responsible to: Establish, maintain, and communicate the Enterprise Risk Data and Tech transformation Management data strategy; Create and deliver technology implementation roadmaps, ensuring that both business and regulatory requirements are met; and Drive implementation and adoption of consistent data management standards and capabilities to support the Enterprise Risk Management Framework adoption across the enterprise and relevant businesses / functions / regions.

This role sits within the Infrastructure pillar of the Risk Data & Technology transformation organization, focused on the buildout of the foundational architecture to support our transformation journey. The focus will be to design and implement target state infrastructure and data flows to support our Enterprise risk functions. In addition we will be required to expand and strengthen governance across the systems, aligning to new data management policies. Critical systems managed within this team include :

  • Enterprise Risk data Layer (ERDL) : The Enterprise Risk Data Layer (ERDL) infrastructure will capture consistent, accurate and timely data from risk categories and ERM Risk pillars.
  • Risk Terminal: l. The Risk Terminal is designed to provide a holistic and persona based (i.e. CRO) view of the Bank's risk profile. This interface will give 1LoD & 2LoD users the ability to centrally access streamlined analytics, reporting, escalation and other risk management activities across the enterprise.
  • OPTIMA : Optima functions as data processing platform for Wholesale Credit Risk and Regulatory reporting. The system is a key system in our data transformation journey, responsible for all data intake and processing for Wholesale Risk.

About the role:

The Business Architecture and Process Design SVP is responsible for assisting the Business Architecture lead with business and strategic planning activities, design, and implementation for end-to-end business architecture owned and performed by the ERM teams located around the world, ensuring the alignment of existing platform offerings with new process changes introduced are standardized, ef?cient, and designed with appropriate controls.

The SVP will also provide thought leadership and support in the de?nition of business architecture changes, relevant process design, de?nition of Digital KPIs and metrics to drive transformation and productivity. In addition, the lead is the primary interface with global stakeholders including Risk Categories, Risk Data Analytics Reporting and Technology and EO&T Technology.

The Business Architecture and Process SVP is a mid-senior management level position responsible for accomplishing digitization results through a strategic partnership with the ERM internal teams, partners and stakeholders across 1LOD and 2LOD. This role will also be contributing to ensuring that appropriate end to end business architecture, design and development initiatives are aligned with the ongoing Consent Order programs and most importantly aligned to the strategic ERM Business Architecture objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • The role will support the ERM teams (Enterprise Risk Analytics, New Activities Risk Management, Risk Appetite and Limit, Risk Framework and Policy, Risk ID and Strategic Risk, Climate Risk, Digital Assets Risk, Enterprise Risk Governance), ensuring business architecture defined adheres to agreed standards.
  • Actively align the business architecture, design, develop, and drive transformation, Regulatory remediation and beyond consent order (target state) objectives.
  • Support identification of opportunities to integrate various aspects of enterprise strategy, design, modelling and technology solutions, promote inter-connectivity between platforms, and facilitate platform governance.
  • Support for initiating programs whose outcomes will drive simplifying processes, optimizing platforms, and identifying opportunities to improve outcomes. Partner with partner Risk teams to design global processes and controls
  • Provide support to interpret and contextualize the digital strategy for operational needs, map business capabilities to bridge the gap between strategy and execution.
  • Provide support for driving project outcomes and creating alignment/ synergies with Risk Transformation/ Consent Order, and Business Simplification initiatives as they relate to the technology enablement of processes owned and performed by ERM.
  • Assist in the design, development and execution of strategic vision of ERM optimized processes. Help identify strategic opportunities to deliver improved processes. Help identify and execute through process design, strategic transformation and utilization of organizational and infrastructure optimizations.
  • Provide leadership to drive the design of the business architecture for strategic vision of ERM optimized processes. Collaborate with stakeholders responsible for strategy development, business analysis, process management, and system analysis to develop common ERM Platform vision.
  • Take a relevant role for driving projects and creating alignment/ synergies with Risk Transformation/ Consent Order, and Business Simplification initiatives as they relate to processes owned and performed by ERM.
  • The role will be a key participant for defining key systematic controls and defining key operational and organizational metrics for the defined digital processes.
  • This role works with key stakeholders across ERM, Risk, Risk DART, Risk COO PMO, Technology, EIO&T Business Simplification, and 1LOD, as well as other disciplines to ensure appropriate alignment and accountability of activities supporting these end-to end-processes.

Qualifications/Required Skills:

  • 7-10 years of demonstrated data-oriented experience in transformation programs and regulatory remediation in a large global bank or Big Four consulting firm
  • Experienced in business process reengineering and business modeling concepts, business systems development and analysis
  • Strong analytical and data analysis skills with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving
  • Advanced knowledge and proficiency of SQL, data visualization (e.g., Tableau) and MS Office
  • Experienced in working across technology and business projects and managing inter-dependencies between them
  • Proven successful track record of navigating operations and technology organizations, effective communication to senior leadership and driving results across global organizations
  • Bachelors degree required. Master's degree is strongly preferred or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Management or related field
