Sr. Consultant, Vulnerability Management

Vulnerability Assessment- Spotting vulnerabilities before they are exploited is a key part of how we approach security at Dell Technologies and why this team is so important. Our Vulnerability Assessment team identifies weaknesses in information systems, confirms compliance to security standards, analyzes discovered threats that could result in unauthorized misuse of data and works with the IT team to resolve security exposures.

What you'll achieve

Our Senior Consultant on our Vulnerability Management team will have the ability to interact with Executive Leadership team and partner with the Senior Director of this team.

You Will

As the Sr. Consultant of the Vulnerability Management Organization, you will:

  • Manage, report and deliver required outcomes for a portfolio of large strategic Cyber Security projects, typically related to improvement of Dell's security posture across the enterprise tech stack, driving down technical debt, reducing risk against the latest threats and vulnerabilities
  • Discuss and investigate vulnerability management issues, communicate the problems, define requirement and propose solutions with technical and non-technical senior stakeholders
  • Build a communication stream within Cyber Security Org to enrich our internal processes and improve our engagement with external stakeholders

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. Equivalent work experience can be substituted for educational requirements or 10 years' experience in a relevant role in a Cybersecurity Field
  • Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with the design, implementation, and/or operations of an enterprise vulnerability management program. Excellent communication, interpersonal skills with the ability to influence horizontally and vertically your stakeholders at all levels
  • Expert knowledge and understanding in running global vulnerability management processes and integration with working with strong knowledgeable IT and/or engineering senior matter experts.
  • Experience using an Agile (ideally SAFE) methodology, and experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes, reporting and metrics
  • Deep understanding of cybersecurity best practices and frameworks such as NIST, MITRE, ATT&CK Framework, and OWASP top 10. Experience running emergency vulnerability remediation meetings - providing executive updates, coordinating technical and non-technical resources, and managing key stakeholders

Desirable Requirements

  • Familiar with Cloud Security Controls and Secure Development Lifecycle processes and controls. Familiar with Endpoint Security controls and Network Security control
  • Familiar with industry compliance and audit requirements such as FedRAMP, PCI DSS, ISO 27000. Familiar with incident response and threat intelligence processes and possess Industry certifications relevant to the role such as: CISSP, CISM, CRISC
