Title: Manager, Technical Product ManagementBusiness Function: Voice Self Service Location: Nashville, TN

The Manager, Technical Product Manager, will have a strong understanding of Product, Customer Solutions Operations and Enterprise technology to deliver features and capabilities that enables both short-term and long-term goals. This individual will drive the roadmap and prioritization of a technical product that serves an important role in Asurion's ability to Serve, Solve, Sell.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Ability to recognize data patterns and demonstrates enthusiasm for researching performance data and finding answers to difficult questions

Builds rapport with stakeholders and end users, tailors and flexes interaction style to fit the circumstance and audience

Helps cross-functional team build broader understanding of the end user experience and needs

Dedicates a portion of time to thinking about long term product direction and needs; socializes insights with senior leaders

Works within team to resolve issues and achieve outcomes

Leverage a Minimal Viable Product (MVP) test-and-learn approach to learn fast with minimal risk

In partnership with Software engineering leads, define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)for product to track overall performance, guide work priorities, and measure the impacts of new features.

Product roadmap ownership which includes the creation, maintenance, prioritization, and ongoing communication to all stakeholders

Facilitate prioritization discussions taking into account stakeholders, capacity, and feature benefit

Ownership of user story creation within our JIRA application.

Close partnership with the software engineering team to understand and participate in capacity planning

Ongoing partnership with architecture and senior leaders to explore potential sensors to properly measure impact and ensure best possible solutions are identified.

Publish KPIs for each product, including user sentiment on an ongoing basis.

Collaborate with lead Software Engineers on sprint release retrospectives to identify best practices and areas of opportunities

In partnership with Software Engineers, provide guidance/feedback during incidents to help aid in issue resolution?

What you'll bring to the team:

Amazing listening skills and the ability to seek feedback from our users, engineers, UX designers, stakeholders and synthesize that feedback into actions

Problem solving, communication and negotiation skills

The ability to root cause, define, and solve problems in ambiguous situations

Excellent communication (written and oral) and presentation skills, including creating and sharing out complex ideas to peers, clients, and executive management

Excellent ability to extract and derive insights from data from systems such as Power BI, Mixpanel, Metabase, Fullstory, Excel, or similar

2 years of cumulative experience in product management / development, technology / engineering roles, startup operations, scaling business models, or other relevant experiences

Prefer 1-2 years of experience specifically building products, preferably in an Agile / Journey Team model and leading a team through a direct or dotted-line reporting structure
