About the Role
We are currently looking for a Warm Forge Press Operator to improve quality of production and press efficiency.
Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate represents the company in a professional manner and demonstrates openness to accept change and innovative ideas while cooperating with others in a spirit of mutual respect and responsibility for the duties assigned to them.
- Adherence to company JI and SOP
- Fulfilling thoroughly all tasks within the scope of defined qualifications and responsibilities
- Represent the company in professional and respectful manner
- Maintaining confidentiality of proprietary information
- Adherence to 5S principles
- Operation of machine and secondary equipment, including feeding material manually
- Material handling with forklift
- Support department personnel and tasks
- Measuring/Documenting of product produced to ensure quality standards
- Performing required operator level preventative maintenance tasks
- Assisting maintenance during major breakdowns
- Sorting non-conforming product (as required)
- Cleaning equipment and surrounding areas
- Special projects as determined by area management / supervision
- Managing MPDV per area standards
- Reporting/Document equipment related maintenance issues to supervision / maintenance
- Supply maintenance request documentation for breakdowns
- Completing required department documentation
- Comply with all additional directives from the management team
Location & Commitments
- Monday – Friday, Onsite Columbus OH
- Permanent, Full Time, Second Shift 3:00 pm – 11:15 pm (40 hour)
- Overtime, Alternate shifts, and Weekends may be necessary for business needs
Candidate Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Forklift
