Position Summary:

The Fabricator position is responsible for production welding of panels, gates and other iron material.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for production welding of panels, gates and other iron material.
• Position, align, weld and assemble fabricate parts for assembly.
• Responsible for following schematics and blueprints
• Grind and finish panels, gates, pieces, and products in preparation for Powder Coating
• Read and interpret basic drawings to correctly lay out pieces.
• Operate welding equipment and fabrication tools
• Maintain equipment, tools, and worksite
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Iron Foreman and Superintendent

Experience, Educational, and Additional Requirements:

• Must have at least 1-3 years of work experience as an Iron and/or steel Fabricator preferred.
• Must have knowledge of and be able to operate metal fabrication machines and equipment
• Must be competent and know how to weld
• Must be able to safely work in hot and cold temperatures.
• Must be familiar and comply with all OSHA regulations concerning iron/steel fabrication
• Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 75b
• Bilingual in both English and Spanish preferred
• Pass a mandatory employment drug test required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $28.00 per hour
