Hiring Insurance/Legal Industry is Hiring a Processing and Imaging Clerk Near Westlake, CA

Processing Responsibilities:

  • Process reports, Bonds and checks from agents
  • Enter Bond information into system by agent code, defendants name, amount of Bond, Bond number and date written
  • Process exoneration Bonds by number, name, amount and date
  • Process Legal Documents

Imaging Responsibilities:

  • Handle confidential and extremely time-sensitive materials
  • High volume sorting, analyzing, and scanning of legal & financial documents
  • Run network high production scanning equipment
  • Label documents for file/records storage
  • Process reports, Bonds, and checks from agents
  • Maintain accuracy of required reports and logs
  • Check handling and check deposits within the system

Job Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of data processing
  • Typing & data processing experience; speed and accuracy is essential
  • Knowledge of general office equipment
  • Well versed in MS Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Maintain high degree of quality control and validation of the completed work
  • Ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service objectives

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent

Experience Requirements:

  • Two (2) years previous office experience
  • At least five (5) years Data Processing Experience
  • Document Management experience preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

· Stand/Sit – Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time

· Walk – Needs to occasionally move about inside of office to access files, office machinery, etc

· Use hands/fingers to handle/feel – Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery

· Stoop/Kneel/Crouch – Occasionally positions self to reach files

· Talk/Hear – The person in this position frequently communicates with staff regarding business needs; must be able to exchange accurate information

· See/Vison – Must be able to inspect mail, paperwork and documents

· Exposure to work environments – Constantly in office setting where temperature is often cool
