```Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities. This is a crucial role in ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.
Responsibilities:
- Perform commercial cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing and polishing
- Ensure that all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while performing duties
Requirements:
- Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and practices
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers and carpet cleaners
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require lifting heavy objects or standing for long periods of time
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or overtime as needed
