Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Food Runner to join our team. The Food Runner will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of food orders from the kitchen to customers' tables.
Duties:
- Deliver food orders promptly and efficiently to customers
- Assist in expediting orders from the kitchen to maintain proper flow of the dining experience
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and servers to ensure accuracy of orders
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Collaborate with servers to enhance overall customer satisfaction
Experience:
- Previous experience in a restaurant, hotel, or banquet setting is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and food preparation procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems is a plus
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
