Job DescriptionWe are looking for an exceptional Senior Android Developer to work with our cross-functional team onsite at our client in NYC. Core to this need are:Fluent in Java programming languageSubstantial experience with Bluetooth and sensor data from mobile phoneProven working experience in JNI and Java threading behaviorExperience developing successfully-launched Android SDKsAnalyze requirementsSelect appropriate technology and other choices based on requirementsUnit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliabilityWork with a team to evaluate tradeoffsExperience with executing apps in backgroundFluent in working and interfacing with cloud-based APIsExperience with third-party libraries and APIsAbility to pivot based on product requirement changesQualificationsUndergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Physics or Mathematics (Graduate Degree always is a plus)6 years experience in Software Development.An Agile mindset with experience working in Agile environmentA spirit of collaboration and transparent communicationHigh personal code/development standards (peer testing, unit testing, documentation, etc)Additional InformationAll your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
