Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing
- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards
- Protect equipment and make sure there are no inadequacies
- Notify superiors on any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience
- Check stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate
- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices or policies
- Proven experience as a cleaner or housekeeper
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies
- Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS)
- Integrity and ability to work independently
- Hospitality: Provide excellent customer service to guests or clients
- Industrial cleaning: Experience in cleaning large commercial spaces or industrial facilities
- Housekeeping management: Ability to manage and supervise a team of housekeepers if required
- Clean: Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness standards
- Hotel: Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards
- Floor care: Knowledge of proper floor care techniques and equipment
- Custodial: Understanding of basic custodial duties and responsibilities
Job Types: Temporary, Contract
Salary: $13 - $15 per hour
