High School Diploma/GED equivalent required. Minimum 3 years of experience processing medical claims in a computerized environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Maintain multiple groups
- Process CMS-1500 claims
- Process UB-04 claims
- Process high-dollar claims
- Process JAA/BlueCard claims
- Interpret group SPD’s and apply benefits
- Zero dollar adjustments
- Maintain various reports
- Review/create/process FOGBUGZ cases
- Access Anthem Blue Cross website for inquiries
- Batch/Scan correspondence
- Access email for department communication
- Track and work spreadsheets for special projects
- Maintain confidentiality
