Hire Up Staffing Services is currently looking for an Enteral Intake Coordinator in the Visalia area. This is a temp to hire opportunity with a starting pay of $18 an hour DOE.

Job Responsibilities :

• Work closely under the guidance of Clinical Pharmacists and the Specialty Team Leader.
• Handle new Enteral patient intakes, including gathering necessary clinical information, verifying insurance, coding, pre-collections, and coordinating initial delivery and nursing.
• Maintain open communication with referral sources and the Enteral department to ensure timely processing of referrals and receipt of essential information.
• Stay informed about current insurance guidelines related to Enteral therapy.
• Initiate communication with Registered Dietician for consultations and organize and ensure timely follow-up on nutritional consults.
• Verify insurance for scheduled refills on the Enteral Master List.
• Assist in regular follow-up calls for active patients, including those on Enteral and specialty medications as required.
• Aid in obtaining and submitting updated clinical documentation for reauthorizations and clinical review.
• Assist in the transfer of Enteral patients to other providers, ensuring continuity of patient care.
• Manage the closure of patient files at the end of therapy, ensuring the proper processing of equipment pick-up.
• Provide clerical support for the pharmacy office and specialty team as necessary.
• Undertake additional tasks as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager and / or Specialty Team Leader.

Experience & Education :

• High school graduate.
• Minimum of six months related experience.
