Our client is looking for an experienced, fun, and passionate full-time Preschool Teacher to join their premier preschool in Westford, MA.

Salary and Benefits:

• $19.00 - $21.00/hour pending education, certifications and professional experience

After one year of service, employees can become eligible for an alternate schedule that would include four, 10-hour shifts with an extra day off every week to help you maintain a work/life balance! The extra day off will be at the school's discretion based on operating needs.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ability to communicate, both verbally and in writing, effectively and professionally with school personnel, children, and parents
• Ability to understand and support the education program using “learning through play” philosophy
• Ability to keep children within sight and sound supervision at all times
• Ability to change children’s diapers and/or assist with toileting (where necessary)
• Ability to multitask in a lively environment and work well within a team
• Ability to handle crisis situations, including assisting in evacuating the building during emergencies

Qualifications:

• Ability to lift items/children ~30 pounds

One of the following required:

• CDA, AA or higher degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, Child Development, or related field OR;
• Early Childhood Teacher Credential (ECTC) OR;
• One year of cumulative experience in a licensed early childhood facility as either a Lead or Assistant Teacher
