Our client, a reputable CPA accounting firm, is seeking a talented Staff Accountant who is a CPA candidate. As a Staff Accountant, you will work closely with the team to perform various accounting tasks and gain valuable experience in preparation for becoming a Certified Public Accountant.

• Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Perform general accounting tasks, including reconciliations and journal entries
• Support the tax preparation process
• Conduct research on technical accounting and tax issues
• Assist with audits and financial analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and industry trends

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Working towards CPA certification or already CPA candidate
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Salary: $65K/yr - $85K/yr, salary negotiable
