A multi-disciplinary, award-winning MEP Engineering firm in the Dallas, TX area is currently hiring for an Electrical Engineer to their growing team. This firm works on large-scale, challenging projects including Healthcare Facilities, Research Laboratories, Petrochemical Labs, Higher Education, Government, Municipal, K-12 and Commissioning Projects. 

The Electrical Engineer will work with an experienced group of designers to prepare building electrical plans and specifications. 

Responsibilities Include:

• Detailed design, modeling and analysis of normal and emergency power distribution systems.
• Design life safety systems
• Design and model lighting and associated control systems
• Coordinate with the Plumbing, Mechanical, Architectural, Structural, and Telecommunication/Audio Visual discipline’s design
• A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• A Professional Engineering License is required
• Previous managerial experience leading a team of engineers

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an accredited university;
• Registered Professional Engineer
• 7 years of experience;
• Current on appropriate codes and technologies;
• Proficient in the use of state-of-the-art tools for engineering design and documentation;
• Thorough understanding of the engineering systems within a specific discipline;
• Knowledge of advanced engineering principles and calculations;
• Expertise in area of concentration;
• Effective communication skills

** This is a hybrid work schedule with 1/2 day Fridays. 3 days in office, 2 days remote.**
