Job Details:
- Position: Vehicle Mechanic
- Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
- Salary Range: $45,000 to $52,000 per year (Pay rate may vary based on experience)
- Benefits: Excellent benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and more
- Employment Type: Full-time
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of vehicles, including cars, trucks, and other company vehicles
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues, electrical problems, and engine malfunctions
- Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure vehicles are safe and compliant with regulations
- Repair and replace damaged or worn parts, such as brakes, engines, transmissions, and suspension components
- Perform vehicle inspections and diagnostic tests using specialized equipment
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to prioritize and complete work orders efficiently
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in automotive technology and repair techniques
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Mechanic, with a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance
- ASE certification is preferred but not required
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing a wide range of vehicle issues
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment
