Senior Software Engineer Responsibilities Include:
Develop and/or verify software system specifications and requirements documentation, develop support system software capabilities, features, or enhancements.
Plans, performs, and lead software design, coding, and testing.
Work with customers and engineers in an adaptive Agile environment, build and maintaining the latest software projects for the navy, and helping expand our software capabilities.
Primary work location will be in Fredericksburg, VA or Dahlgren, VA with possible telecommute options.
Communicating status, risks, issues, and ideas for innovation directly to the PM.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree (in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics)
Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a SECRET Clearance
Must Know the following programming languages: C/C , Python, Assembly.
Must Have over 20 years of Software Development Experience, Software Design experience in DOD Weapons Systems and a current Secret clearance
Must have experience with the some CI/CD Pipeline and Static Analysis tools such as Jenkins, Coverity, Cppcheck.
Preferred experience:
Familiarity with the following: RHEL, RTOS-E, Solaris or System-V based Unix, RHEL, FEDORA, or CentOS.
Experience with and proficient with at least one of the following Object-oriented programming (OOP) languages: C/C or Java (at least 25 continuous years of experience in one language family).
Demonstrate Experience in Sensor systems and Senor Payloads. Demonstrate Experience/Familiarity with one of the following: STANAG-4586 or STANAG-5516. Demonstrate Software Development within an Agile Environment.
