Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance & Repair:
- Perform preventive maintenance on industrial equipment to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machinery, including motors, pumps, and conveyor systems
- Collaborate with the maintenance team to complete repairs quickly and accurately
- Equipment Upgrades:
- Assist with equipment modifications and upgrades to improve efficiency and safety
- Work with the engineering team to implement new machinery and systems
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Document all maintenance activities, including repairs and parts used
- Maintain accurate records of equipment and repair history for future reference
- Safety Compliance:
- Follow safety protocols and ensure equipment is operating within safety standards
- Conduct safety inspections and provide recommendations for improvement
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certification or associate degree in industrial maintenance or a related field preferred
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician in an industrial setting
- Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read blueprints and technical manuals
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional overtime
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
