Shift : Monday - Friday
Pay : $21-26/hr (Based on experience)

- Assist in creating safety manuals, training materials, safety oriented discussion points for terminals, and other safety related items
- Maintain record keeping for accidents, injuries, DOT related items, and other safety related matters
- Enter accident/injury/DOT/other claims data into internal tracking system
- Review and update documents related to safety as needed
- Organize and schedule safety department meetings as needed
- Assist in worker's comp claims
- Assist in managing Driver Qualification Files
- Assist in ensuring DOT standards are met
- Responsible for the overall administrative functions of the Safety Department
- Any other duties as needed by/for the Safety Department
- Associate degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Business Administration, Emergency Management, or equivalent experience
- Two years training experience preferred
- Two years safety and loss prevention experience preferred
- Basic working knowledge of OSHA and DOT regulations
- Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation, interpersonal, and analytical skills required
- Proficiency with personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software; Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint preferred
