Hino Motors Manufacturing is an OEM that assembles trucks in West Virginia, automotive components in Arkansas, and operates a parts distribution center in California.

We are currently seeking Production Supervisors for our manufacturing plant located in Marion, Arkansas reporting directly to Production Manager. The individuals will be responsible for managing their respective production activities. These positions will ensure manpower is properly distributed and that all safety, quality, productivity and cost targets are met daily. The position will also provide leadership for the Production Team Leaders and ensure their focus and resources are utilized efficiently. The Supervisors must keep the Manager informed of all significant activities, and of performance within the Production Department

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote and Enforce Safety throughout production lines and plant.
• Ensure company handbook policies are properly and fairly applied to Production Team Members.
• Generate Work Instructions and train/evaluate team in standardized work.
• Implement Kaizen ideas for Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Cost.
• Generate effective countermeasure implementation and documentation submittal (PSG, PAF and NCR).
• Production Manpower Management (TM through TL).
• Report daily in PMR any problems within his/her line as well as what countermeasures have been implemented.
• Ensure that all line control documents are completed as required.
• Approve and manage all team member’s time within their lines.

Education & Experience Requirements:

• 3 years of working experience in a Supervisory/leadership role in an automotive manufacturing environment
• High School/ Associates degree in a related field or equivalent amount of work experience

Skills Required:

• Display initiative for improvement and possess strong problem-solving skills.
• Accurately gather and analyze data so that appropriate decisions can be made regarding Kaizen. Knowledge of all company rules and policies.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (primarily Excel).
• Knowledge and experience in 5S, Safety rules, and Company Hoshin.
• Ability to manage manpower within their lines.
• Welding, Machining, and Assembly
