The role of *_Chip Haul Driver_* at Hines Trucking, Inc. (HTI) is to ensure company goals are met by driving in a safe, professional manner and making on-time pick-ups and deliveries of customer freight. This includes (but is not limited to): Proper pre-trip and post trip inspections of equipment and customer freight; inspecting loading and unloading documents for accuracy; obeying speed limits and all other types of traffic signs; reading, studying and interpreting DOT regulations to meet FMCSRs; communicating with customers, co-workers, management and officers of the law in a professional manner at all times. Additionally, Chip Haul Drivers are responsible for the development of trip plans and must use and manage their time properly in order to serve our customers and grow our business. Drivers are expected to maintain a congenial attitude and never jeopardize the integrity of the company or safety of the customer or themselves while representing HTI.
Ideal candidates would be in the area of Holden, Hammond, Covington, Amite City, Laplace, Denham Springs, and Livingston, LA.
