The Bahia Mar DoubleTree is seeking an Assistant Housekeeping Manager. An Assistant Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading, training and supervising Room Attendants and Housepersons in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

Rate of Pay: Yearly Salary

Shift Pattern: 8 hour shift between 9AM-11PM. Required to work two PM shifts per week.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year of housekeeping supervising experience, 3 years of hotel housekeeping or Front Office experience, is a strong communicator, and has a passion for hospitality. 

What will I be doing?

Leads, trains and supervises room/suite attendants and housepersons on a floor/in an area to ensure all rooms/suites and public areas meet established cleanliness and quality standards. Assesses inventory of, assigns, inspects and verifies and reports status of rooms/suites. Monitors payroll reports, work schedules and lost and found program. Ensures stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies. Keeps designated inventories (i.e. linen, etc.) and ensures stock rooms and carts are maintained with proper supplies. Communicates and coordinates with Engineering/Property Operations to ensure the efficient repair and maintenance of items related to guestrooms and public areas.
