Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in accounting principles and financial concepts.

Responsibilities:

- Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition
- Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
- Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
- Research technical accounting issues for compliance
- Support month-end and year-end close process
- Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
- Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2 years of experience in accounting/finance roles
- Strong knowledge of GAAP
- Experience with Hilton Onq, QuickBooks, or similar accounting / hotel software
- Proficiency in regulatory reporting requirements
- Previous experience in public accounting is a plus
