Hilton Lake Las Vegas is Hiring a Loss Prevention Manager Near Henderson, NV

The award-winning AAA 4-Diamond Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa is looking for a Hotel Loss Prevention Manager, this is a hourly working position to join the Hotel Loss Prevention Team!

Situated within the 3,600-acre Lake Las Vegas master-planned resort community, Hilton Lake Las Vegas Resort & Spa is a Mediterranean-inspired resort just 20 miles from the Las Vegas strip, ideal retreat for guests who are looking for both the excitement and proximity to the Las Vegas strip and a tranquil place they can escape to and relax. It is an idea venue for upscale corporate and association meetings and conferences, as well as wedding and social events.

In this role as Loss Prevention Officer, you maintain the safety and security of the Team Members and the hotel Guests.

The ideal candidate will be Guest Service and safety driven, have strong Loss Prevention skills and previous hotel loss prevention experience.

What will you be doing?

As a Loss Prevention manager, Represent the management of the hotel as well as Hilton Lake Las Vegas in ensuring the safety, security and well being of the guests and team members in accordance with hotel standards and Purpose Platform. Additionally you monitor and patrol assigned areas to provide a safe environment for guests and employees and to minimize opportunities for loss or damage. Acts to deter any agent or element from jeopardizing persons or property in or about the hotel's facilities.

Specifically, this includes but is not limited to:

· Must have a professional image and personality exuding confidence and leadership skills.

· Evaluate the staffing requirements and prepare work schedules weekly, adhering to budget goals.

· Maintain complete awareness of Scheduled group activities and house count, Hotel facilities and services, Hours of operation, Facility layout, Fire and emergency plans, Departmental rules of conduct.

· Review department log records and be familiar with pertinent information relevant to the daily shift. Review the hotel status and follow up actions with the previous shift officer.

· Issue radios, beepers, keys to designated hotel personnel. Maintain accurate records and ensure the safekeeping of such in accordance to hotel procedures.

· Ensure all non-hotel personnel arriving at employee entrance are properly escorted while on property according to hotel policy.

· Inspect employee packages, purses, bags, etc. as employees enter or leave the property as designated by hotel policy.

· Ensure that after hour’s access into secured hotel areas are properly authorized, monitored and documented in accordance with hotel standards.

· Work with outside agencies (i.e., police) cooperatively and follow established hotel regulations.

· Coordinate emergency situations as specified in departmental manual.

· Contact the Security Supervisor and General Manager immediately for emergency situations as specified in departmental manual.

· Monitor surveillance cameras as assigned.

· Investigate duress alarms and comply with respective procedures.

· Patrol the property with specified equipment, checking all designated points and document all actions taken in accordance with departmental standards.

· Resolve safety hazard situations.

· Ensure all guest room doors are secured; assist guests with room access in accordance with hotel procedures.

· Conduct designated investigations into theft or lost items, noise complaints, assault complaints, food poisoning complaints and other guest complaints, complete documented reports in accordance with departmental procedures.

· Respond to the scene of guest/employee accident promptly; administer first aid/C.P.R. in accordance to guidelines and comply with all departmental procedures; communicate specified information to E.M.S./medical personnel as required.

· Communicate by radio/beeper with designated hotel personnel in accordance with hotel standards.

· Document all pertinent information in the logbook daily.

What You Bring

· Ability to communicate in English with guests, visitors and hotel staff to their understanding.

· Ability to provide legible communication.

· Criminal-free record.

· One year of experience in hotel security/loss prevention.

· Knowledge of local laws, investigative methods and fire safety.

· Valid certification in C.P.R. and first aid.
