Purpose:

To provide customers with an extraordinary distillery experience and help them select products to buy. Candidate must be 21 years old or older.

Duties:

• Welcomes customers by greeting them; offering them assistance.
• Guides customers on tour of the distillery, providing in depth information about the history of rum and the distillation process.
• Conducts tasting of products with detailed descriptions, encouraging customers to purchase.
• Helps customers make selections by building confidence; offering suggestions and opinions.
• Processes payments by totaling purchases; processing checks, cash, and store or other credit cards.
• Keeps merchandise area tidy by taking out trash, sweeping floors and dusting surfaces.
• Stocks inventory.
• Arranges and displays merchandise.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Counts money, sorts charge slips and balances monies.
• Recognizes and monitors security issues.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Knowledge of sales and customer service principals
