Job Title: Food and Beverage Director

Job Summary:

As the Food and Beverage Manager, your primary function will be to coordinate, supervise, and direct all property food and beverage operations while maintaining a profitable F&B department and high-quality products and service levels. This role will include other special projects, as needed.

Duties and Functions:

• Market ideas to promote business.
• Interview, hire, and train personnel.
• Maintain revenue and payroll budgets and meet budgeted productivity.
• Estimate food and beverage costs.
• Work with cooks for efficient provisioning and purchasing of supplies.
• Supervise portion control and quantities of preparation to minimize waste.
• Perform frequent checks to ensure consistent high quality of preparation and service.
• Answer customer complaints or inquiries
• Comply with state laws for serving alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with other projects as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or GED certification.
• Culinary School degree or equivalent work experience.
• Alcohol awareness certification and/or food service permit as required by local or state government agency.
• A minimum of 2 years’ food and beverage and/or hospitality related work experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Detail oriented for optimal efficiency.
• Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training ability.
• Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact effectively and professionally.
• Ability to push, pull or lift items up to 50lbs.
