**Job Title: Hotel Bartender**
**Job Summary: **
We are seeking a skilled and customer-focused Bartender to join our team at Hilton Garden Inn San Antonio Downtown Riverwalk. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized bar area. The ideal candidate will have previous bartending experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences for our guests.
**Responsibilities: **
1. Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, mocktails, beer, and wine, according to standard recipes and guest preferences.
2. Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking drink orders and providing recommendations as needed.
3. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including restocking supplies, cleaning equipment, and disposing of waste properly.
4. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling of alcoholic beverages, sanitation procedures, and responsible service practices.
5. Process payment transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card payments, and maintaining an organized cash register.
6. Engage with guests to ensure a positive experience, addressing any concerns or inquiries promptly and professionally.
7. Collaborate with other hotel staff members to ensure smooth operation of the bar and exceptional guest service throughout the hotel.

5. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and prioritize tasks efficiently.
6. Attention to detail and accuracy in preparing and serving beverages, handling payments, and maintaining cleanliness.
7. Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
8. Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe) is a plus.
9. Knowledge of basic math skills for handling payments and calculating drink costs.
