Job Overview:
Aimbridge Hospitality is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our team. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and crafting delicious beverages for our guests. This position requires good communication skills, some knowledge of mixology, and the ability to handle cash transactions.
Duties:
- Greet customers and take drink orders promptly
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and customer preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification of customers to verify age requirements for alcohol consumption
- Monitor alcohol consumption and ensure responsible drinking practices
- Upsell additional drinks and menu items to increase revenue
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Assist in restocking bar inventory as needed
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operation of the establishment
Requirements:
- Six months related experience; or equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of mixology techniques and drink recipes
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems
- Strong cash handling skills and ability to perform basic math calculations accurately
- Basic math skills for measuring ingredients and calculating bills
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks during busy periods
- Outstanding customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and practices
